"Face Mask Required" is a thought-provoking painting that features a notice sign. Instead of a typical medical mask, the sign depicts a ski mask for an unexpected twist. This artwork juxtaposes the familiar pandemic-era mandate with a symbol of anonymity and potential menace. It fuses different connotations of masks in our society, from protection and safety to concealment and threat.
